STOCKCAR RACING
T
HE STORY OF A SAD INDIVIDUAL
(BUILDING AN F2 SEEMED TO BE A GOOD IDEA AT THE TIME)

Page under construction

This is a true story of a sad individual, whose experiences although very limited and frustrating can only be described, as embarrassingly pityful (mainly caused by poor working conditions, limited resources, periods of despair and lets just say my wife thinks our money should be spent elsewhere). All said and done I do enjoy it and it leaves fond memories. I've always been a big fan of stockcar racing since the mid sixties when my father took me to Cowdenbeath race track when it ran under spedeworth (Scotland) Ltd. I've been to various tracks around the country and like most spectators I've lived the dreams of participating in most formula's (ministox, bangers, stock & hot rods, 2 litre saloons )and although thoroughly enjoyable for me there is nothing that compares to formula 2's. In my dreams Rob Speak's second best and just never manages to successfully put the bumper in. These web pages are a tribute to my desperate and sad attempts at stockcar racing, However I believe that I'm not alone in my plight, there must be other's out there who have similar experiences and stories to tell. Here is my story and to coin a phrase, Clean & Green.....
